The Bypass Global Office Hours Configuration feature in the RingQ Mobile App allows Managers and Owners to control and override the global office hours schedule for specific features such as IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and Queue Extensions. This enables greater flexibility for managing business operations outside standard office hours.
This guide will walk you through how to enable or disable the bypass switch for all IVR and Queue extensions, or for specific IVR and Queue extensions, and will explain the permissions needed for access.

How to Use the Bypass Switch for Global Office Hours
Ensure Correct User Role

Log in to the RingQ Web App as an Owner or Manager.

Navigate to the User Roles settings and verify that your role has the necessary permissions to access the bypass switch.
Open the RingQ Mobile App

Open the RingQ Mobile App on your device.

Navigate to the Settings section in the app.

Find In-Office Hours from the settings options.
Enable or Disable the Bypass Switch

To enable bypass outside office hours:

Toggle the switch Enable to bypass the global office hours schedule for IVR and Queue extensions. This allows operations to continue beyond the standard office hours.

Toggle the switch Disable to follow the default office hours schedule for IVR and Queue extensions.
