How to Execute Attended Transfer
Attended Transfer
A telecommunication feature that allows a user to transfer an ongoing call to another party while remaining connected to both parties briefly. During an attended transfer, the person initiating the transfer typically informs the recipient (the party receiving the call) about the caller's identity and the purpose of the call before completing the transfer.
During an Active Call:
- While engaged in a conversation with a caller, inform them that you will be transferring their call to another person or department.
Access Transfer Options:
- On your RingQ mobile app or web app, swipe up the screen to show the available actions for class, then. This is typically represented by an icon resembling an arrow or the word "Transfer."
- Locate the transfer button.
- After clicking the transfer button, more options about call transfer will be shown.
- Select and click Attended Transfer.
Attended transfers help maintain professionalism and efficiency in handling incoming calls by ensuring that callers reach the appropriate person or department with minimal disruption.
