Increase the efficiency of your call center with ring groups. A ring group allows you to configure a group of extensions to ring simultaneously during an incoming call resulting in the call being answered faster as more agents will be aware of it.
If an extension is not a member of a specific ring group then they cannot incoming answer calls to that ring group.
You can choose to have a ring group assigned to any type of number; a virtual number, the main switchboard, a specific extension number, or any other number you want to allocate in your system.
Using ring groups helps you determine which groups receive a call, including those that went to voicemail or went unanswered. This information provides managers with accurate data on which department handled the call, the type of call etc. As a result, it will help improve your agentsā productivity and response time.
