Reduce Call Costs with Outbound Routing
Unlike an inbound call center, which focuses on answering incoming calls, an outbound call center focuses primarily on making outgoing calls. However, one does not exclude the other and they could easily be the same thing or two different entities.Ā
RingQ offers outbound call routing for outbound call centers within the same interface as it does for inbound. However, where you would set inbound routing rules to distribute calls according to skillsets and availability for example with outbound rules it doesnāt work the same way.
Outbound routing is a set of rules that the call center uses to decide which trunk to use for an outbound call. With the use of multiple trunks, you are able to route calls via the least costly trunk for a particular call. Outbound routes are used to specify what numbers are allowed to go out a particular route.
Routes are required for all types of calls to ensure that your users donāt get frustrated when trying to place an important call.
Outbound call centers typically use a predictive dialer which automates the dialling process and allows agents to make more phone calls by reducing idle time.
